Our publishing tips...

Jean Hanson:

When I've published I've found it to be exciting...for all of 24 hours. My tip is not to be too enamored with the publishing part. Instead, consider the lovely experience of having written. After all, with prose in your pocket you are wise, you are beautiful, and you sing arias well, too. (Apologies to Marvin Bell who once paraphrased the Yiddish proverb)

Kathy Hayes:

Before submitting to a publication, read it. Determine if the piece you want to submit is similar in style and content to material in the magazine.

Todd Shimoda:

In my experience, getting work published is the easy part of the process, as long as it's something publishable.
