Tracy Ekstrand is former senior editor of the journal Creative Nonfiction and associate director of the Mid-Atlantic Creative Nonfiction Summer Writers' Conference in Baltimore. She was awarded the 1997 Artists Fellowship in Literary Nonfiction by the Colorado Council on the Arts. She lives in Austin.
